Architectural Sunset

Architectural Sunset (SOLD)

50” w x 25” h x 3” d

The complexity of nature’s shapes differs in kind from that of ordinary geometry. The geometry of fractal shapes looks like nature, but there are no perfect circles or squares. The sun on the horizon does not set into a straight line and clouds in the sky are not spheres. The human eye does not see a direct representation of external reality, but a translation formed by their eyes and mind. This work of art is an iteration of shapes, colors and forms. Pixels of sunlight and fractals of form pay homage to color in an imagined sunset.

Three-dimensional sections of art glass are mounted with standoffs. Attaches to any wall with four metal hardware mounts.
